Labor Support


Women who have support from a companion who is neither a friend nor a member of their hospital staff or family, have fewer Cesareans,  less use of Pitocin, and shorter labors.

Amy and Taylor are certified birth doulas who support women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. They are able to assist you and your partner in discovering your options in birth.

Their goal is to provide evidence-based information and support so that you can confidently make decisions that feel best for you and your baby. They want every mother and father to feel informed, heard, and supported in their own path through the birth experience.

They share similar doula philosophies, and provide support and back-up for each other.

Basic Labor Support Fee is $925

and includes:

  • Two prenatal meeting to to envision and prepare for your ideal birth.
  • Access to our lending library of books and other materials of interest to new families.
  • Phone and email support to answer your questions, provide reassurance, or stay current on the progress of your pregnancy.
  • 24 hour on call status beginning 10 days before your due date.
  • Continuous emotional and informational support, non medical pain relief and comfort measures during your labor and birth.
  • Up to two hours immediate postpartum support to ensure that you are resting comfortably after the hard work of birth; and to help initiate breast feeding if desired.
  • A  postpartum visit in your home to review your birth, plan for continued postpartum wellness, and to provide any referrals or resources you may need.
